POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under the guidance of the Manufacturing Manager, the position performs a variety of shipping and fabrication support tasks. These duties include but are not limited to; shipping/receiving assistance for the facility, picking, packing, and shipping all resale products, support the quality inspection with keeping it stocked and cleared, as well as assisting in any other fabrication duties as assigned.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under the guidance of the Manufacturing Manager, the position performs a variety of shipping and fabrication support tasks. These duties include but are not limited to; shipping/receiving assistance for the facility, picking, packing, and shipping all resale products, support the quality inspection with keeping it stocked and cleared, as well as assisting in any other fabrication duties as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for ensuring that the customer’s product is delivered on time, as you provide assistance to the shipping/receiving department.
- Assembles containers and crates, packs goods with tape or straps to be shipped as per Albarrie standards and to minimize shipping damage.
- Affixes identifying information and shipping instructions such as labels, and markings and ensures the information is accurate.
- Operates hand trucks and dollies to load, unload, transport, and store goods as per operating and safety standards.
- Responsible for picking, packaging, and shipping out of all resale items to customers, as required.
- Support the quality inspection area by assembling boxes, palletizing, and staging in the shipping/receiving department. Keep the area stocked with boxes and skids at all times.
- Assisting all departments within the manufacturing facility as required by the Manufacturing Manager.
- Completion of high school diploma
- 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing.
- Previous hands-on experience with forklifts, pump trucks, etc.
- Previous experience using Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently as well as cohesively with employees and managers as part of a team.
- Accurate and detail oriented.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize and organize workflow, to meet delivery dates.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
- Ability to pack and unpack boxes, cover rolls, load, and unload trucks.
- Health and Safety aware to minimize risk of injury from equipment.
