POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, this position performs a variety of quality control and conformance functions related to sewing and fabrication. Responsibilities include reading specifications and examining filter bags to ensure they meet Albarrie’s quality standards.

This role has been created to cover a current vacancy within the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Inspect filter bags upon completion to ensure they meet Albarrie’s quality standards and engineer drawings.
  • Fold and stack filter bags on tables.
  • Identify and utilize the appropriate cell plates based on engineer drawings.
  • Repackage repaired customer filter bags according to specifications.
  • Tape boxes prior to filling, as required.
  • Complete order information and label boxes for shipping.
  • Accurately complete quality control sheets for all specifications.
  • Maintain compliance with all company and departmental policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and company information.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships within a team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Completion of Ontario Secondary School Diploma (or equivalent).
  • Basic knowledge of fabrics.
  • Some knowledge of sewing techniques (asset).
  • Ability to read and interpret specification sheets and engineer drawings.
  • Experience using a computer, including ERP systems for scanning work orders.
