POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under the guidance of the Director of Procurement & Strategic Supply Chain, the position performs a variety of purchasing and inventory tasks to ensure that materials and inventory are sustainable, processed and tracked to meet customer deliveries and corporate KPI’s. These duties include but are not limited to procurement administration, inventory coordination and tracking, logistics administration and data analysis. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for reviewing requests and preparing purchase requisitions for approval. 
  • Responsible for accurate entry, review, maintenance and submission of all purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders on purchase order changes or delays.
  • Investigate discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices in conjunction with the shipping and accounting team.
  • Maintain accurate record keeping in ERP system of all vendors, suppliers and contractor information for streamlined communication and processing.
  • Coordinate with the shipping department on any vendor delivery issues, damaged products or short shipments. Communicate with vendors to support a positive resolution.
  • Maintain inventory tracking and coordinating with the procurement team on order fulfillment.
  • Participate in annual physical inventory and assisting the accounting team with input administration.
  • Responsible for setting up new purchase items for sales team or for new material creation. 
  • Review and approve invoices to purchase orders for payment. Identify discrepancies and provide explanation and/or details to procurement team or Director.
  • Review vendor agreement, terms and conditions and advise Director of modifications, compliance issues and or renewal requirements for decision making purposes.
  • Provide administrative support to the procurement team and Director, as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Completion of a diploma or degree, preferably in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management, in field experience will be considered. 
  • 3+ years of experience in a procurement or supply chain role.
  • Intermediate working knowledge of ERP and MRP systems.
  • Strong aptitude in reviewing contracts, terms and conditions and warranty information. 
  • Advanced working knowledge of logistics, customers and working with 3PL companies.
